Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive with experience in outbound telemarketing, specifically in the IT sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and creating sales opportunities by making outbound calls to prospective international customers (primarily from Australia). You will drive the full sales process—from prospecting and lead generation to closing sales—while maintaining a focus on performance and achieving monthly targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to prospective international customers (primarily from Australia) to identify and create sales opportunities.
  • Handle inbound telephonic and email inquiries, responding appropriately to all queries.
  • Prospect, generate leads, and close sales within the IT sector, including technologies like C++, C#, .NET, Java, J2EE, PHP, and Crystal.
  • Research data and build databases to ensure focused telecalling campaigns and lead qualification.
  • Develop and execute cold-calling scripts (sales pitch) and telemarketing campaigns.
  • Qualify prospects and propose relevant products and services based on their needs.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales funnel, ensuring a continuous flow of opportunities.
  • Report daily progress, track metrics, and escalate issues to avoid loss of opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, Scope of Work documents, and sales presentations with or without guidance.
  • Generate business through various online marketplaces/job boards such as Elance, Guru, Odesk, etc., specifically for IT services (Web, mobile, and software).
  • Maintain a target-driven mindset, chasing and achieving sales goals month on month.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and maintain a high level of client interaction and engagement.
  • Be flexible and available to work during different time zones, particularly for international markets.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of outbound sales experience, with a focus on IT sales and international markets.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent prospecting, lead generation, and sales closing skills.
    • Strong client-interfacing, presentation, and communication skills.
    • Familiarity with IT technologies such as C++, C#, .NET, Java, J2EE, PHP, Crystal, etc.
    • Experience with generating business through online marketplaces/job boards (Elance, Guru, Odesk, etc.).
    • Ability to qualify leads, propose solutions, and build a strong sales pipeline.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
    • Ability to work independently, remain self-motivated, and meet sales targets.
    • Flexibility to work in different time zones as required for international markets.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) lead generation and sales prospecting.
  • Familiarity with the entire sales process for enterprise IT solutions.
